No special equipment is needed. You can use any SIP-compatible IP phone, an analog telephone adapter (ATA) with your existing phones, or free softphone apps on your computer or smartphone. All features work with any SIP device.

Yes. Residential plans come with 2 extensions and Business plans come with 4 extensions. You can add additional extensions as needed. Each extension can have its own voicemail, internal caller ID, and call forwarding rules.
